- ‘hot topics’ - Health surveillance,driving at work, selection and management of contractors and suppliers.
- Personal duties and liability, What gives rise to personal liability?, Directors/Senior Managers offences.
- HSE Policy, Case Law, The role of Directors and Senior Managers.
- Turnball report, Institute of Directors Guidance - Leading Health & safety at Work.
- Allocating responsibilities, What should the policy contain?, Individual or collective responsibility?
- The pitfalls, Workshop on drafting /reviewing a polic, Risk assessment, How to conduct a risk assessment.
- Who should conduct a risk assessment?, Measuring performance, Reviewing, monitoring and auditing.
- Workshop - indentify your top 5 areasto be audited, Motivating and discipline.
