Supervisors Update Course for UKCG Sites

Who is it for?

Asbestos removal supervisors who work on United Kingdom Contractors Group (UKCG) sites.

Aims

To ensure asbestos removal supervisors have completed the UKCG supervisor's syllabus. This will be delivered as a top-up or bolt on to an existing ARCA supervisor's certificate undertaken in the last 12 months.

This course will include a multiple-choice test.

Course Content

The course covers the elements of the UKCG Supervisors syllabus that do not form part of the existing one-day ARCA supervisor refresher. The course covers - The role of the supervisor (in relation to this course and non-asbestos supervision); Safe systems of work (non-asbestos related); CDM (working with other contractors); Presentation skills - delivering tool-box talks; Intervention skills and behaviour.
