LAR Ltd was formed from a management buyout of Laing Asbestos Removal (part of John Laing Construction Ltd) in May 1997 and again from the original purchasers by its existing management in the summer of 2004. As a result the directors and the majority of operational staff have over 20 years experience in the removal of asbestos, having safely and effectively carried out projects with values up to £3.5 million for a wide variety of public and private clients across all sectors in the UK and overseas.

LAR understands that its area of work is environmentally sensitive. We work as discreetly as possible and throughout the project are readily available for consultation and advice. We provide flexible and tailored solutions designed to meet the individual and changing needs of our customers and our understanding of their needs allows us to minimise disruption to their operational requirements.

LAR is one of the most respected asbestos removal contractors in the UK . As leading members of the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association, we are active on the Association's Governing Council and our Managing Director also sits on ARCA's audit committee.

LAR has grown consistently since its inception. In this time its workforce has trebled whilst retaining its core employees. During 2005 a further office was opened in Yorkshire and in 2007 a Greater London Office has been opened to support our national coverage.We look forward to many years of future growth based on continuously striving to meet and exceed our customers' expectations.
