ARCA members can achieve a Gold Site Audit and/or Training Awards as recognition of their achievements.
In order to achieve these awards, certain criteria must be met.
ARCA acknowledges member asbestos removal contractors’ consistent high performance on-site by presenting a Gold Site Audit Award at the Association’s Annual General Meetings, held in October.
In order to obtain the Gold Site Audit Award, Full Contracting Members must display high standards and best practices by completing six excellent consecutive site audits, with grades A-C (average of a B) on live audits. If the audit is ‘non-live’, they must achieve grades A-B.
Gold Training Award
ARCA presents the Gold Training Award to members at the Association’s Annual General Meetings, held in October, acknowledging members’ and candidates’ achievements.
For member asbestos removal contractors to obtain the Gold Training Award they need to train over eight operatives and/or supervisors with ARCA during the twelve-month period (1st July 2019 to 30th June 2020), and the candidates must achieve an average score of 92.5% or above.
ARCA recognises candidates high training scores, by presenting the National Training Award to one full contracting member at the Association’s Annual General Meetings, held in October.
Full Contracting Member companies have the opportunity to gain the National Training Award by training more than 25 asbestos removal operatives and/or supervisors with ARCA over a twelve-month period, (1st July 2019 to 30th June 2020), and these candidates must have achieved the highest average score in training.
Operative of the Year Awards ARCA acknowledges operatives excellent achievement in their training and NVQ by presenting an Operative of the Year award at the Association’s Annual General Meetings, held in October. To achieve the Operative of the Year award, candidates must achieve 100% in their training course and successfully complete their Level 2 NVQ competency qualification with ARCA in the same 12-month period. Supervisor of the Year Award ARCA presents a Supervisor of the Year award at the Association’s Annual General Meetings, held in October, acknowledging a supervisors’ excellent achievement in their training and NVQ. To achieve the Supervisor of the Year award, a candidate must achieve 100% in their training course and successfully complete their Level 3 NVQ competency qualification with ARCA in the same 12-month period.

To achieve the Operative of the Year award, candidates must achieve 100% in their training course and successfully complete their Level 2 NVQ competency qualification with ARCA in the same 12-month period.
