ARCA joins the Contamination Expo Series

ARCA, the UK’s leading association representing asbestos removal contractors, has signed up to the Contamination Expo Series 2016 to be held on 12-13 October at ExCel London.

The Contamination Expo Series launches this year to tackle solutions to contamination across six sectors, including hazardous waste. Held in association with the Environment Agency, the exhibition will co-locate with the successful Flood Expo.

Sarah Haslam, of the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association comments “We are delighted to support the first Contamination Expo which offers us the opportunity to showcase our members’ services. Our presence will enable us to communicate, the hazards of and how to manage asbestos containing materials, to commercial property owners and managers, and highlight their legal responsibilities.”

James Ashwood, of the Contamination Expo Series adds “Having ARCA on board means we can work closely with this leading trade association to help drive the messages about asbestos. Having asbestos experts at the event will support a key visitor sector for us, that is the professionals involved in managing asbestos in commercial buildings, whether that be construction companies or owners and managers of properties, such as schools, council offices, shops and hospitals.”

Entrance to the exhibition will be free (order tickets online at www.hazardouswasteexpo.com ) and will feature free to attend seminars, over 100 hours of CPD accredited, networking areas and the exhibition show floor will be filled with companies offering products, solutions and expertise in cleaning up or preventing contamination.
