ARCA Issues Over 7,000 CSCS Cards

ARCA has reached an important milestone, surpassing 7,000 CSCS cards issued to asbestos removal operatives, supervisors, analysts and AMI skill cards. The achievement highlights continued progress in skills, safety, and workforce competence across the licensed asbestos management sector.

As part of the CSCS Card Alliance team, ARCA plays an active role in supporting consistent competency standards across the construction industry, helping ensure that card schemes meet the needs of both employers and workers operating in high-risk environments.

Longstanding Commitment to Standards

ARCA processes CSCS card applications quickly, with most completed within four days. Cardholders can choose between physical smartcards or free digital cards for easy access to their credentials. Employers can also use ARCA’s Go Smart online checker to verify CSCS smartcards quickly and with confidence on site.

The Association provides a comprehensive range of CSCS cards for various roles within the licensed asbestos management industry, facilitating access to construction sites:

·        Asbestos Removal Operatives: Eligible for temporary red-trained and experienced worker cards, and blue skilled worker cards.

·        Asbestos Removal Supervisors: Can apply for temporary red trained and experienced worker cards, and gold supervisor cards.

·        Asbestos Removal Managers: May obtain temporary red trained and experienced worker cards, and black manager cards.

·        Asbestos Analyst & Surveyor Cards: Employers and individual analysts can apply for temporary red and Academically Qualified Person (AQP) white cards.

·        AMI Skills Cards for Professionally Qualified Person: Available to AMI Full Members and AMI Fellows.
