Asbestos Air Monitoring and Clearance Procedures – Remote Training & Exam Day

The training will provide all the theoretical knowledge required by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) qualification and will cover the HSG248 Asbestos: The Analysts Guide (Edition 2) for sampling, analysis and clearance procedures

The units covered are:

• Unit One: Asbestos types, uses, health effects and legislation
• Unit Two: Theory of air sampling, fibre counting and clearance procedures for asbestos analysts/ project managers
• Unit Three: Practical air sampling, fibre counting and clearance procedures for asbestos analysts
• Unit Four: Use of decontamination units and Class H vacuum cleaners.

To attend a remote training course a candidate will require:

• Access to a device (preferably a laptop or computer) capable of running the Zoom app.
• Have an email address to which the training invitation can be sent.

Four separate remote training days, held over four weeks and delivered via Zoom, followed by an exam day held at an ARCA Centre, which will be arranged for around 10 working days after the last remote training day.

For Members the fee is £744.00 (exc vat) + £147.00 registration fee

For Non-Members the fee is £794.00 (exc vat) + £147.00 registration fee.
