About the Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced Asbestos Removal Supervisor to manage licensed asbestos removal works across sites within the UK, mainly based in Birmingham. The role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of UK asbestos regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise licensed asbestos removal works in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012
• Ensure all works are completed in line with approved Plans of Work, risk assessments, and method statements
• Manage site operatives and subcontractors
• Conduct daily site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
• Liaise with clients, UKAS-accredited analysts, and enforcing authorities when required
• Ensure compliance with HSE guidance (HSG247, HSG248)
• Maintain accurate site paperwork and records
• Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture on site

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as an Asbestos Removal Supervisor in the UK
• ARCA or equivalent Asbestos Supervisor training
• Strong working knowledge of UK asbestos legislation and HSE guidance
• Good leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple sites
• Full UK driving licence
• First Aid at Work
• Face-fit and respiratory protection experience
• Experience in commercial, industrial, and domestic projects
